Choosing a plan

Is the perpetual license really perpetual?

Yes. You pay $2,500 once and the software is licensed to you permanently. The optional $295/yr maintenance plan adds updates, new features, and support — but if you stop paying it, the version you have keeps working. We put that in the EULA, in writing, because two of our competitors sold "lifetime" licenses and later revoked or sunset them. We won't.

What happens when my trial ends?

You pick a plan or you don't. Your projects and exports remain accessible in read-only mode, and anything you exported to Excel or CSV is yours forever. No card is taken up front, so there's nothing to "forget to cancel."

How do seats and devices work?

A seat is a named login. Each seat can activate the app on two devices (say, the office workstation and a laptop or iPad). Licenses are managed in the app — no license-key spreadsheets, no calling anyone to move a seat.

Does it work offline — like on a jobsite with no signal?

Yes. The app is offline-first: your work saves locally and syncs when the connection returns. Sign-ins carry a 14-day offline grace period, so a week in a dead zone won't lock you out of your own takeoffs.

Is AI really included at every price?

Yes — AI Detect, AI measure suggestions, and AI-assisted redaction ship with every seat, including trial seats. Bluebeam gates AI behind its $590/yr Max tier; STACK and On-Screen Takeoff sell AI as paid add-ons. We think assisted counting is table stakes, so it's just in the product.

Buying and using

What's the refund policy?

30 days, no questions, full refund — one email. The trial means you'll rarely need it, but it's there in writing.

Can GCs and clients open my exports without a license?

Yes. Exported PDFs (with markups burned in or separated) and Excel/CSV estimates are standard files — no viewer seat, no account, nothing to install.

Can I move from a subscription to perpetual later?

Yes, and we'll credit your current subscription year toward the perpetual price. Email us and it's handled in one message.

How does cancellation work?

Self-serve, effective at the end of your billing period, no phone call, no 30-day written-notice trap, no auto-renewal at a "dramatically increased" rate. Export everything first if you're leaving — we'll even show you how.

Do you offer volume or trade-school pricing?

3+ seats save 15%, 5+ seats save 25% automatically. For 10+ seats, multi-company accounts, or education, email sales — a human answers, usually same day.
