Everything that's landed in Groundwork Takeoff, newest first. Subscribers and maintenance-plan owners get every one of these automatically.
Your plan sets now follow you. Open a set at the office, pick it up on the laptop or iPad — same document, same takeoffs, synced automatically in the background. Documents are matched by their content, so the same PDF is recognized as the same document on every device, even after edits.
Multi-sheet sessions got a rebuilt engine under the hood: each sheet now syncs independently, so two estimators working a 200-page set see each other's markups faster and more reliably.
Shrink bloated scan sets down to emailable sizes, export archival PDF/A for closeout, and drop Word/Excel/PowerPoint files straight into the app — they convert to PDF and join your set.
Rotate any markup freely. Right-click menus, layering (bring-to-front / send-to-back), and the properties editor all got cleaned up, and the sidebar is now resizable.
A proper support portal is live — submit questions or bug reports from the website and a human replies, usually same day. Companies on team plans can now have seats assigned and managed per person.
Double-click any PDF in Finder and it opens in Groundwork Takeoff.
The AI now proposes full measurements — not just counts. It suggests, you approve; nothing enters your takeoff without your click.
Flag sensitive content across a set and redact it in one pass before drawings leave the office.
Sheet scales are detected automatically (verify once, override anytime), and dimension chains keep continuous strings of dimensions consistent as you adjust them.
Type math anywhere a quantity goes — (24*3)+8 just works, unit-aware.
Sheets sort themselves by discipline, and you can search a set the way you'd ask a person — "second floor electrical" finds it.
Rearrange the toolbar to match how you actually work (Settings → Customize Ribbon).
Measurement labels honor your precision settings — decimals or feet-and-inches fractions, your call.
Full touch gestures for tablets and touchscreen laptops — the iPad experience got dramatically better.
Jump anywhere in a big set with the minimap, find anything with the search overlay, and reopen recent plan sets in one click.
Deep undo history across takeoffs and markups, copy/paste for markups, align/distribute tools, and a light/dark theme toggle.
Work several plan sets side by side in tabs, Acrobat-style.
Combine PDFs, add headers/footers and text (full international font support), open password-protected files, manage bookmarks and forms, and crop pages without breaking takeoff geometry.
Mark-then-apply redaction that actually removes content — not a black box drawn over it.
Every placed symbol gets its own properties editor, and markups can link to revision-log entries for a clean audit trail.
